The WESTOP SoCal Chapter 2020 Professional Development Seminar (PDS) Committee has been working diligently to plan and implement a successful virtual PDS. This year’s theme “Blazing Pathways for Change: Zooming into a New Decade” was developed to intentionally address the impact of COVID-19 in our professional and personal lives and allow for intentional conversations on the social and political climate that impact the educational equity landscape in our region and nationally. Our keynote speaker and workshop sessions will provide information, resources and tools to drive our agenda forward and develop new strategies and practices to bridge the equity gap.

In addition to the regular PDS offerings, we are also providing a two-part Talent Search Program Development Workshop.  This will take place as Pre & Post-Conference Sessions, which will meet on Monday, October 26, 2020 and Monday, November 9, 2020. The registration rate for the TS Program Development Workshop is $100 for members and $200 for non-members. Space is limited.

However, in the event of an unexpected circumstance, registrants must contact the event organizer or the WESTOP SoCal Chapter president  by email. Upon review, the registrant will  be notified  if the cancellation request is approved. Please note that if a payment has been made, the transaction cannot be cancelled.
