The theme for this year's conference is: Agents of Change, and we are seeking presenters who are open and available to share their expertise with our student participants. Please play an active role in this year’s conference and help us make this event a success by applying to be a presenter or forwarding this email to someone whose expertise would make a great addition to our conference! 

In order for us to have a variety of workshops to offer at this year’s Student Leadership Conference, proposals need to fall into the following general strands or themes:


  • Leadership 

  • Civic engagement, Social Justice and advocacy 

  • Academic Skill Development 

  • Social Skill Development 

  • Financial Skill Development 

  • Career Development 

  • Wellness and self-care


Presenters should be available for at least 1 of the 3 workshop sessions:

  • 10:25 a.m.- 11:10- Workshop Session 1
  • 11:20 a.m.- 12:05 p.m.- Workshop Session 2
  • 1:20 p.m.- 2:05 p.m.- Workshop Session 3

**

Presenter should have experience working w/ low-income/first-generation students
Neither honoraria nor expenses will be paid to program presenters
Presentations should be no longer 45 min (including Q & A)
Presentations should accommodate between 20 to 50 students
All Selected presenters will be notified by Friday, March 20th by end-of-day.
